      3103 Formative Assessment: Cohort 4 [A]
Come and learn and all about formative assessment and how it positively impacts student achievement. Topics include establishing clear learning targets, providing descriptive feedback, involving students in assessment, and using data to adjust instruction. Attendance at all sessions is mandatory. The audience for this course includes teachers and administrators in grades K-12.
      3110 Common Assessments -Fall PM- Series 2
Come and experience the process of developing Common Assessments. This course (comprised of 4 half-day sessions) will provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to create your own common assessment. Building on the concepts covered in Series 1, you’ll now begin the process of writing your own Common Assessment for immediate implementation. You will learn how to write quality test items; design effective, valid assessments; and create items that accurately reflect the depth of knowledge indicated in the GLCEs or HSCEs. The last half of the final session will be spent in assessment development. The audience for this course is individual or teams of teachers and administrators.

Come and experience the process of developing Common Assessments. This course (comprised of 2 full-day sessions) will provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to develop the basis from which Common Assessments should be created. You will, working within your specific content and/or grade level area, engage in the determination of power standards which will then be “unwrapped” for further clarification and written into student friendly “I Can…” statements. You’ll learn how to pace these targets across the school year to determine the proper scope and sequence. Finally, you’ll work on developing appropriate-learning progressions to ensure student mastery of the learning targets and overarching power standards. Individuals and/or teams of teachers will work together to identify power standards, unwrap those standards, determine the specific learning targets, and determine the necessary learning progression while articulating their implementation across the school year. The audience for this course is individual or teams of teachers and administrators.

      3161 MME Data Analysis Using CLASS A
Analyze MME data with the CLASS A Performance Analysis system. In this hands-on course, you will learn to access reports in CLASS A to explore questions relating to student performance on the MME. In addition, we will use EXPLORE, PLAN, and ACT data to reflect on student progress over time. The audience for this course is administrators and high school teachers.
      3163 Data Analysis of Local Assessments in CLASS A [A]
Analyze local assessment data with the CLASS A Test Delivery system. In this hands-on course, you will learn to access reports in CLASS A to evaluate student performance on grade level standards and benchmarks. Data-driven dialogue techniques will be used to support the learning. The audience for this course is all educators.
