2994 District & School Crisis Team Training - 2994
Learn how to assess and mitigate the threat of a crisis, prepare for and practice responding to crisis, and help students and staff recover the learning environment after any type of crisis. You will receive information on incident command, terrorism, school shootings, pandemic flu preparedness, and a 100-plus page crisis manual that includes a recommended list of crisis supplies for every building. This course was developed with funding from the U.S. Department of Education’s Emergency Response & Crisis Management Division and addresses the four phases of emergency management: Prevention/Mitigation, Preparedness, Response and Recovery. Course begins promptly at 8am.The intended audience for this course is K-12 staff and crisis team members.
