Come and experience the process of developing Common Assessments. This course (comprised of 2 full-day sessions) will provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to create your own common assessments. Building on the concepts covered in Series 1, you will now begin the process of writing your own Common Assessment for immediate implementation. You’ll learn how to write quality test items; design effective, valid assessments; and create items that accurately reflect the depth of knowledge indicated in the GLCEs or HSCEs. The last half of the final session will be spent in assessment development. The audience for this course is individual or teams of teachers and administrators.
