2990 PEER Mediation - Day 1 - 2990
Learn the basics of Peer Mediation, a research-based, violence prevention program where students help other students resolve conflicts before they escalate. The audience for Day 1 is intended for advisors new to Peer Mediation. This course trains staff to set up Peer Mediation programs in their schools and is open to anyone who would like more information about Peer Mediation.To register your student teams for the Day 2 & 3 trainings below, contact Ruth Ann Zeigler at ruthannzeigler@comcast.net (preferred) or call 248.858.7203. Fall dates: Elementary - September 29 & 30, 2009; Middle School - October 1 & 2, 2009; High School-October 7 & 8, 2009. Spring dates: Elementary – April 13 & 14, 2010; MS/HS Combined – April 15 & 16, 2010. Note: For new advisors who are registered to attend the 2-day Team Training with students, this $50 fee is included in the training costs for Day 2 & 3.
