High levels of student engagement correlate to greater levels of student achievement. In this two day course, participants will analyze the qualities of engaging lesson plans and instructional delivery. Participants will identify the major learning styles,and plan lessons which address the various needs and styles in their classrooms. Participants will apply differentiated, cooperative learning principles to lesson design and implementation. Video clips, professional readings, large and small group activities and discussion will be utilized.
