Teachers administrating ACCESS to students placed in Kindergarten will get familiarized with the main components of the new ACCESS K Test, called MODEL. They will be introduced to the assessment instrument and they will practice the administration of all its components. Attendees will take the online test to become fully certified administrators of ACCESS K MODEL.

Teachers who are new in the proctoring of ACCESS For ELLS will gain the knowledge needed to be effective administrators of this assessment used to measure the proficiency in English Language Learners in the areas of Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing in grades 1-12. Attendees will take the certification test.

K-12 bilingual teachers currently certified to administer the different components of ACCESS will learn the different components of ACCESS-aligned screener test: W-APT. Teachers will learn how to administer the different versions of the test to newly enrolled potential ELL students in grades K-12. Teachers will learn to score the tests and to make appropriate program placement recommendations based on language proficiencies of students.
