The course begins with an overview of Matrix Switching in general, and then proceeds to the AD1024 and MP3200.
Extensive time is spent on MegaPower 1024 Matrix Switcher system design, requirements and growth paths. The purposes of the PC boards, their applications, and service are also covered. The installation of the MP1024 is covered including the Matrix Switcher Bays, CPUs (AD1024CPU), Hot Switch (AD1985), TouchTracker (ADTTE), Keyboards (AD2088/9), and RS-422 Code Translators. After service strategies, there is a considerable concentration on the menu programming and applications, using both the imbedded menus and our PC based S3 software. Next we upgrade the system to a MP3200 and download our AD1024 programming to it, using the EASY software package. We network the switch and PCs and perform programming. We review all switch setting for the PC boards. Basic dome installation and programming are also covered
