Conference/Workshop SubcategoryWhat makes a cult a cult? Are cults different from other religions? This workshop will help to recognize drug use and recognizing commonly used drugs and paraphernalia. The participants will be able to identify illegal and legal chemicals and methods of their use. How do drugs get into our neighborhoods? Why is this an issue in Pennsylvania? What should we be aware of in our schools? Presentation was part of the Office of Rural Health Symposium in November 2008. This workshop will focus on the diagnosis and characteristics of children with Autism and Asperger Syndrome. Participants will be taught effective teaching strategies for children included in the regular education classroom setting. A primer on gang awareness including graffiti clothes and tattoos. Why do gangs exist? Are they prevalent in the area? What can you do to slow or stop the growth. The focus of this workshop is on understanding the diagnosis of Autism and Asperger syndrome. Special attention will be placed on the social deficits of these children and the impact the deficit has on peer relationships and understanding various reading assignments. Protecting Children from identity theft. Child predator awareness is key to protecting children from others. How do predators contact children and others? What does NAMBLA mean and why should I care. An analysis of legal plants and chemicals that can be obtained by students: the legality and the risks. s will be taught how to determine the function of behavior, de-escalation techniques, and how to safely restrain students in in the that a child is engaging in self injuries behavior or hurting others. |
