In this class, participants will learn about a variety of health, wellness, and fitness issues including what factors contribute to childhood obesity, eating disorders, and different diet trends. In addition, participants will learn how to calculate calorie intake and body mass index, as well as learn about the updated food pyramid and the numerous benefits of exercise and staying in shape.
