VEX Challenge - Tiger Hawk

Develop your understanding of STEM education by supporting a VEX or VEX IQ robotics tournament in SVVS. You will learn about how robotics provides project-based, student-driven, hands-on learning by serving as a volunteer at one or more tournaments. There are many roles you can choose from in supporting a tournament.

After volunteering, you will complete and submit a written reflection (minimum 2 pages) sharing your learning on:
  • New knowledge about Computer Science skills / robotics in elementary / middle school.
  • How 21st century learning can be transferred to different content areas
  • How to transfer this learning into your own classroom.

6.5 hours will be spent at the tournament; an additional 1 hour will used to complete assignments and reflections.
