21 Things is a series of individual sessions where participants can register for one or for all of the sessions. In this session, participants will learn about the Technology Tools available to teachers and students. You will create your own blog for class assignments, subscribe to an RSS feed to keep up to date with the classroom blog and edit your Google Start Page to put valuable tools at your fingertips. College credit, through Central Michigan University, is available upon completion of all seven sessions: Thing 1-5 (May 11 – 5-9 PM), Thing 6-11: (May 18 5-9PM), Things 12-13 (June 1 – 5-9PM), Things 14-15 (Oct. 28 – 5-9PM), Thing 16 (Nov. 4 – 5-9PM), Things 17-19 (Nov. 18 – 5-9PM), Things 20-21 (Dec. 2 – 5-9PM) or awarded .3 SBCEUs. Learn how to cast your voice and video to their devices and discover other tools to utilize this technology. (Note all activities will assume that students do NOT have access to their cell phone in the classroom)

In this session, participants will become proficient at using the applications inside of Google Apps: Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, Google Presentations, Google Email with chat, Google Calendar, and Google Sites.
