           Sturgis - 21 Things (1-5)
21 Things is a series of individual sessions where participants can register for one or for all of the sessions. In this session, participants will learn about the Technology Tools available to teachers and students. You will create your own blog for class assignments, subscribe to an RSS feed to keep up to date with the classroom blog and edit your Google Start Page to put valuable tools at your fingertips. College credit, through Central Michigan University, is available upon completion of all seven sessions: Thing 1-5 (May 11 – 5-9 PM), Thing 6-11: (May 18 5-9PM), Things 12-13 (June 1 – 5-9PM), Things 14-15 (Oct. 28 – 5-9PM), Thing 16 (Nov. 4 – 5-9PM), Things 17-19 (Nov. 18 – 5-9PM), Things 20-21 (Dec. 2 – 5-9PM) or awarded .3 SBCEUs.            Sturgis - 21 Things (12-13)
21 Things is a series of individual sessions where participants can register for one or for all of the sessions. In this session, participants will become proficient will go on a Google Lit Trip and learn how to create exciting lessons using Google Earth. Participants will also be introduced to Geocaching and how it can be used in education.
           Sturgis - 21 Things (14-15)
21 Things is a series of individual sessions where participants can register for one or for all of the sessions. In this session, participants will learn how to search for and upload pictures to an online photo and video editing site and how to navigate the resources of Unitedstreaming.
           Sturgis - 21 Things (16)
21 Things is a series of individual sessions where participants can register for one or for all of the sessions. In this session, participants will learn how to create digital stories using PhotoStory, Moviemaker, Audacity, animoto.com, voicethread.com and content for online video editing sites such as unitedstreaming.
           Sturgis - 21 Things (17-19)
21 Things is a series of individual sessions where participants can register for one or for all of the sessions. In this session, participants will learn about social Networking in Education. Use the tools the students are already using to communicate, share and provide real world experiences through ; Social Networking-Ning, Twitter and Skype.
           Sturgis - 21 Things (20-21) [A]
21 Things is a series of individual sessions where participants can register for one or for all of the sessions. In this session, participants will learn about Mobile Technology which is readily available to your students. Learn how to cast your voice and video to their devices and discover other tools to utilize this technology. (Note all activities will assume that students do NOT have access to their cell phone in the classroom)
           Sturgis - 21 Things (6-11)
In this session, participants will become proficient at using the applications inside of Google Apps: Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, Google Presentations, Google Email with chat, Google Calendar, and Google Sites.
           Sturgis - Digital Teacher
Registration is open to St. Joseph County Schools Staff. Participants will focus on how to use a data projector and doment camera in your classroom.

Particpants will learn how to create a test, embed videos and manage a wiki.
           Sturgis - Project Based Learning - Digital Storytelling
Participants will create their own project which incorporates technology skills appropriate for the grade level they teach. Focus on Digital Storytelling

Participants will create their own project which incorporates technology skills appropriate for the grade level they teach. Focus on using Google Apps and other Internet based software
           Sturgis - Student Email in Grades 3-5
Registration is open to St. Joseph County Schools Staff. Participants will learn how to use the Google email system. to communicate with your 3rd - 5th grade students.

Registration is open to St. Joseph County Schools Staff. Participants will create photo galleries, podcasts, blog and utilize the resources for online student activities.
           Test Item Writing & Analysis
Participants will learn tips and what to include in a good test item, item analysis, and intrepretation of item response.
           Testing With DataDirector
Participants will learn how to enter exam data using bubble sheets, build and exam in DataBase using teacher made questions and questions found in DataBase, and test online.
