The Centers for Quality Teaching and Learning is offering Digital Media Teacher Training August 2-6 at Middle Creek High in Cary/Apex. Participants will see how the Digital Media program offers students a variety of experiences and a great foundation across the spectrum of Digital Media. The workshop will cover each of the major subject areas in the Digital Media program (audio, visual, graphics, animation and web development) as well as recommended equipment and software, classroom/lab setup, effective classroom strategies and more. Participants will receive resources including equipment lists, and will be enrolled in an on-line Professional Learning Community for Digital Media instructors where they can share resources and participate in forums and chats with their peers at other schools. The cost is $950 per participant. Administrators attending with their teacher may do so for half price. Minimum enrollment of five participants is required to conduct the class.
