Culinary and Hospitality PATHWAY ACADEMY Date: December 1, 2009
Time: 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Who should attend? All Culinary and Foods educators in the Mountainland Region.
The day will be spent understanding the needs of the Culinary and Hospitality industry and what educators can do to prepare students to meet that need; gaining additional insight to the Career Pathway program; navigating the college connections between secondary and post secondary Culinary education; and instruction regarding integration of academics into Culinary and Hospitality curriculum-- in an effort to show rigor and relevance. In addition, there will be hands-on activities that you can replicate with your students and informative and entertaining key-note speakers from the Culinary and Hospitality Industry.
The conference is being funded by the Mountainland Career Pathway Consortium. A continental breakfast and lunch will be served!
