Enrollment limited to 25 participants per session
Come learn social studies methods that will engage students. Curriculum design and strategies built on the notions of enduring understandings and essential questions. Historical thinking, scope and sequence, and the creation of useful units are just some of what will be covered.
Participants will be mailed Understanding By Design to read prior to the first class.
Lunch provided at workshop each day.
Instructors: Pam SuŽa, Carolee Coleman, Judy Jackman
3 semester hours social studies credit through SUU, $45 recording fee written to SUU due at first class.
