The Pennsylvania Department of Education, Bureau of Special Education and the Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN) are sponsoring a special education paraeducator staff development series again this year. Each 2 hour session in this series is designed to provide practical information regarding methods and strategies that may be used by special education paraeducators working with students with disabilities in a variety of educational settings. This series will assist special education paraeducators in obtaining knowledge and skills needed to work towards obtaining the PA Credential of Competency, as well as provide on-going in-service training hours as required by PA regulations.

These training series are free of charge. Participants may attend one or any number of these sessions. Training materials are available on the PaTTAN website after each session.
