The purpose of this series is to provide new and potential leaders relevant experience that strengthen their leadership knowledge and skills.
This interactive series will provide hands-on opportunities to learn and apply skills applicable to leadership roles in schools or communities.
Every session will engage learners in dialoguing, problem solving, developing skills, reflecting and participating in a learning community.
Intended results for All participants:
- The knowledge, skills, and tools to model, coach and lead.
- The skills and strategies for planning, implementing, and assessing quality instruction.
- The tools to build and maintain an environment focused on trust, positive relationships, and open dialogue.
- Participation in a nurturing community of learners to build collegiality, foster conversation, and model good leadership strategies.
Additional results for Potential Administrators:
- The confidence to decide if and/or when administration is an appropriate career choice.
- Some tools and skills for effective interviewing.
