Michigan Model for Health Revised Curriculum 6th Grade

8:30 a.m.-3:45 p.m

This training provides an overview of the 6th grade curriculum in the newly Revised Michigan Model for Health. Participants will review new lessons and materials, examine new and expanded content, explore new lesson formatting, and see how technology is used to enhance learning and communication.This one day of grade level training is for all teachers: new, current, and reassigned. (teachers who have recently attended a “revised” training, but are now reassigned to another grade level, should contact our office to determine if additional training will be necessary.) Each teacher will receive a manual and a set of teaching posters, as well as a grade level training certificate.

Cost: $50, includes food, teacher’s manual, and teaching posters

Registration deadline is 3 days prior to the workshop.

Note: This workshop is eligible for 100% reimbursement with the Safe & Drug Free Schools and Communities Act Grant. To be reimbursed with district SDFSCA funds, documentation of workshop payment and substitute teacher costs need to be submitted by the district to Connie Shingledecker after attendance at the training.
