Pre-Calculus
This course is offered to prepare students for calculus. Topics include real numbers, functions and their graphs, composition, inverse and circular functions, right triangle trigonometry and applications; exponential and logarithmic functions; complex numbers; quadratic functions; conic sections; synthetic division; zeros of polynomials; rational functions and their graphs and matrix solutions to linear systems. A scientific calculator is required.
Please Note: All students taking academic courses for credit are required to maintain at least a 97% attendance rate, which is at least 68 out of the 70 hours.
