American History

This is a survey course which deals with historical themes in American development from exploration through Vietnam. The majority of the course content is textbook based and, therefore, strong emphasis is placed on organization skills, previewing and other reading tactics, note-taking, geography, and map reading.

Please Note: All students taking academic courses for credit are required to maintain at least a 97% attendance rate, which is at least 57 out of the 60 hours.
