Fashion Class

(For Grades 4 through 8)
Do you like clothes, accessories, and styling fashion? In this class with Ms. Russell students will see how a fashion illustrator uses patterns, colors, textures, and accessories to design a clothing line. Students will be able to create practice sketches of their ideas and use a variety of fashion designing techniques to make their own unique clothing! We will be tye dying, sewing, weaving, hot gluing, patching, cutting, using buttons, sequins, puff paint etc. Bedazzle your designs, add fabric, cut away, and make super cool stuff! This class is for anyone you do not need any past experience, basic clothing and materials will be provided, but you are also encouraged to bring in your own materials.
