Junk Radios
Can we build radios from recycled “household stuff?” Of course we can! We can use wire, a small cardboard tube, some bits of metal, whatever. Maybe your radio will need a battery, but maybe not. Will it be able to listen to real radio stations? You Bet So lets make a model of your radio, using an electronics breadboard. You’ll solder and discover exactly how radios operate. Then build and package your creation, and use your radio at home!
This course spans two cycles for a total of eight classes.
