Basic SolidWorks: Parts & Assemblies - AE CT 119
This 30 hour class is the first step toward being a proficient SolidWorks user. The focus of this class is on the fundamental skills and concepts central to the use of SolidWorks in a real world engineering environment. The topics covered will include common part design, assembly creation and drawing generation. Students with knowledge of other 3D solid modeling software will learn how to apply that knowledge to SolidWorks. Prerequisites: Working knowledge of Windows and understanding of engineering design principles. Students must purchase "SolidWorks for Dummies" (ISBN: 978-0-470-12978-4) on their own as a text prior to the start of class.

Refund Policy - Full refunds will be issued when a student withdraws from a course prior to the start date. A 75% refund will be issued to students withdrawing prior to the second class and 50% prior to the third class. No refunds will be issued after the third class, unless there are extenuating circumstances.
