Chinese Beginner Conversation Group - Language-ChineseConv

This conversational class will focus on useful expression such as survival expressions, basic greeting, and bargaining/shopping skills. The theme of each lesson will focus on social situations and activities you would encounter on a visit to China or a Chinese family. Topics include tone marks (pitch of sound), Pinyin (phonetic system), and the formation of Chinese characters (simplified and traditional). Included will be an introduction to Chinese culture, traditions (superstitions too) and holidays as well as the comparison of western and Chinese culture. The required textbook is Speak E-Z Chinese (paperback) is about $10.00.

Refund Policy - Full refunds will be issued when a student withdraws from a course prior to the start date. A 75% refund will be issued to students withdrawing prior to the second class and 50% prior to the third class. No refunds will be issued after the third class, unless there are extenuating circumstances.
