Chinese Beginner Class II - AE LANG 104

This intermediate class is for those who took Chinese beginner class before and learned the Pinyen system. Topics include basic grammar, phases and idioms, pattern drills, sentence structure and written & spoken style. Class will cover basic greetings, family, dates, times, hobbies, and visiting friends. Included will be an introduction to Chinese culture, table manners, traditions (superstitions, too) and holidays. Chinese New Year, Lantern festival and dragon boat festival will be celebrated during the year. It is recommended that students bring a recorder to to tape for oral practice.

Refund Policy - Full refunds will be issued when a student withdraws from a course prior to the start date. A 75% refund will be issued to students withdrawing prior to the second class and 50% prior to the third class. No refunds will be issued after the third class, unless there are extenuating circumstances.
