Coping With Difficult People - AE SELF 101
|
We’ll discuss the seven types of difficult people and what you can do to minimize their de-motivating and debilitating effects. Coping means tactical intervention, not passive acceptance or hoping to change the personality of the difficult person. We’ll go over before and after sample dialogues between the difficult person and his/her victim to show you the words and strategic interventions you can use to minimize the person’s damaging effect. The seven types are the hostile-aggressive, the indecisive, the complainer, the negativist, the silent unresponsive, the know-it-all and the super-agreeable/super-unreliable.
