Beginning Guitar I - AE MUSIC 100

If you don’t know how to play the guitar, but have always wanted to learn, here’s the course for you. This class provides an introduction to the basics of playing guitar, with an emphasis on open position chords and basic strumming and picking techniques. Topics covered include: caring for your guitar, tuning, musical and tablature notation, chord diagrams, and introduction to harmony and ear training. Acoustic guitars are preferable. Expect to practice between classes in order to make progress and be prepared for the next class. Enrollment limited to 8.

Refund Policy - Full refunds will be issued when a student withdraws from a course prior to the start date. A 75% refund will be issued to students withdrawing prior to the second class and 50% prior to the third class. No refunds will be issued after the third class, unless there are extenuating circumstances.
