During this session we will discuss updating your portfolio, applying for your teaching certificate renewal. This session will give you information to prepare for opportunities, meet certification deadlines, and explore continued career opportunities in education.

Payment Instructions

This is a reminder of your upcoming course. Registering for this workshop automatically enrolls you in the 2009-10 Macomb New Teacher Academy. First, second and third year teachers are welcome to attend as many 2009-10 Academy workshops as they choose for a yearly fee of $75.00. In the spring of 2010, districts will be billed $75.00 per teacher participating in the Academy. Please check with your district regarding payment of this fee (whether you are responsible for payment). All cancellations must be received in writing 7 (seven) days before the workshop date. This cancellation must be sent in writing to (Lynn Brown at lbrown@misd.net) . All cancellations AFTER the above date and/or a �no show to the workshop� will be invoiced a fee of $15 per session directly to their place of employment. A notice of this �payment due� invoice will also be sent to the district office notifying the school district of the �non-cancellation or no show� status of the participant. Special Instructions

In case of special dietary needs, participants should provide their own meals. Adjustments will not be made in menu selections or registration fees.
