General education and special education teachers 2-5, literacy coaches, teacher consultants, and other MTSS team members who plan to implement this program.

This session presents the skills and strategies necessary to read, comprehend and learn from informational text. Levels 2 5 builds background knowledge and thinking skills required for comprehension. The program has a reading, literature, and language strand. Participants will receive a hands-on session that focuses on placement testing, group arrangement, sound pronunciation, format practice, correction procedures, and ongoing assessment.

All applications MUST be submitted at that time for processing. Be prepared to pay for SCECHs by check or cash (exact amount). Change will not be available.

Registration is a commitment of payment. All cancellations must be received one week prior to conference to qualify for a refund. Payment is the responsibility of the participant.
