Target Audience: K-8 Teachers

Developed by leading practitioners working hand-in-hand with teachers, $martPath provides simple, fun lessons with embedded assessments that bring economic and financial education to life in your classroom without the strain of finding the materials yourself. $martPath units teach students about personal financial responsibility (such as saving, prudent spending, consumers vs. producers, and prioritizing needs and wants) through grade-appropriate, curriculum-aligned, interactive lessons.

Attendees to this 2 hour professional development will receive instruction on how to integrate economics and financial literacy into their Mathematics, ELA, and Social Studies curriculum. Teachers will receive the following: Training on how to access and use resources - $25 Amazon gift card - An additional $75 Amazon gift card if $martPath is implemented in their classroom this school year - Personal Finance Printables from the National Council of Economic Education - One children´s literature book with economic themes for use in the classroom.
