EMATHS Online Algebra II Units

Target Audience: Secondary Math Teachers

Description of Workshop: This is a 12-week online course. Participants will need to spend a minimum of 3 hours per week online and approximately an additional 3-4 hours per week offline completing tasks. The online course is modeled after the EMATHS 8-day face-to-face workshop titled “Implementing the Algebra II Units”. A facilitator will be assigned to each group of 8-12 participants taking the course online. Participation in the course includes watching video of actual presentations by instructors and teacher participants, downloading and completing activities, uploading completed files to facilitator, reflecting on instructional practices, making contributions to blog discussions, researching the web, using TI-Nspire technology and software, interacting with fellow teachers, and more.

Course requires use of TI-Nspire handheld technology.
