The Second Step Staff Training focuses directly on how to teach this curriculum in a classroom or agency setting. Participants will receive hands-on experience with their grade-level curriculum materials, and particular emphasis will be placed on how to teach skills in empathy, impulse control, problem-solving and anger management. Participants will also learn how to target and reinforce student use of these skills.
