The Student Assistance Program Network (SAP) provides an opportunity for school personnel to develop an integrated system of care, including prevention, early intervention and support services that address mental health and substance use issues that otherwise result in barriers to student learning and success.

The Macomb School Counselors Network (MSCN) provides an opportunity for school personnel to become familiar with and implement the Michigan Comprehensive Guidance and Counseling Program (MCGC) model.

The MSCN focuses on academic and guidance issues that affect student success and the role of the school counselor and social worker in the school setting, while the SAP focuses on mental health resources and interventions needed to assure every student´s success.

All meetings are an opportunity for learning and sharing with your support colleagues about your profession. Each meeting includes discussion about burning issues and a focus topic (stated on each meeting´s registration page). It is our hope that at least one person from your buidling can attend.

SB-CEUs (3) are available for after attending a minimum of 6 meetings in the school year. (The May meeting is not available for SB-CEU inclusion and no more than 9 SB-CEU´s may be earned for meeting participation within a five-year period.)
