Participants who have never received Michigan Model training for any grade, kindergarten through grade six, will attend this streamlined one-day format on the 2006-09 revised Michigan Model for Health. They will be provided with knowledge, skills, teaching strategies, and materials necessary to implement the revised curriculum. The new curriculum is organized into six topical units: social & emotional health; nutrition & physical activity; safety; alcohol, tobacco, & other drugs; personal health & wellness.
