We will explore the barebones issues such as: What´s in that rather intimidating palette of tools over there on the left? What are layers for? We will draw polygons and such basic shapes, then combine them into simple illustrations and diagrams of the sort that you always wind up needing in the classroom, but often can’t find when you do. Don´t draw that heptagon by hand! This course is in preparation for the Intermediate one. Prerequisites: Experience with navigating from the Start Menu or Dock, opening and saving files from the File menu, using the mouse (a lot), placing images into documents. Some experience with scanning or digital photography isn´t essential, but will help (a lot). The intended audience for this course is all educators.
