Educators will draw from their experiences to create a turnkey lesson plan with all materials, ready to use in the classroom. Authors Candace Pert and Daniel Goleman have provided an excellent structure of knowledge to the understanding of emotional intelligence and why it may be more important in IQ. This seminar will explore how anatomically the emotional system can act independently of the neocortex...some reactions and emotional memories can be formed without any conscious, cognitive partipation at all, yet totally be stored in the subconscious mind affecting all cognitive processing. This workshop, conducted by accounting professionals, is an implementation training program that includes hands-on exercises to demonstrate the requirements of BASB-34 in order for participants to gain knowledge to effectively implement the requirements in their districts. An overview of the steps to implement the Financial Infrastructure Database from downloading software to updating codes to the new 1022 chart of accounts. Review of 1022 chart of account revisions; discussion regarding implementing, beginning with sending test date; and discussion of how this changes our annual Form B reporting. NARRATIVE: This program is designed to give teachers up-to-date information on the economics of globalization by examining relevant economic concepts, topics and materials. The highlight of the program is a video-conference, bringing together teachers attending similar workshops at the Federal Reserve Banks of Boston, New York and Dallas-San Antonio branch with experts in the field of globalization at each of the participating Federal Reserve Banks. To provide business teachers with an overview of online, e-Learning, and training and the discipline of entrepreneurship as a career option for students. Participants will be introduced to information processing - The basic application of information processing using the Dunn and Dunn model of global (left brain) and linerar (right brain) data processing. A self assessment will be used to measure teacher/student ability and explore the "whole brain" approach to information processing.
