Secure Central Registry

The Secure Central Registry (SCR) is a joint project between the Michigan Department of Education and the Michigan Institute of Educational Management.

The purpose of the SCR is to provide all those who utilize State Board Continuing Education Units (SB-CEUs) toward the renewal of a MDE-issued license, certificate or other professional status, to track all SB-CEUs in one central location.  All SB-CEUs awarded after January 1, 2010, are now awarded through the SCR after completion of a common evaluation.

Access to the SCR is available 24/7. Free transcripts are available to print at any time and are valid for certificate renewal and verification of SB-CEUs for your district and/or Human Resources Office.

SB-CEUs tracked in the SCR will be automatically provided to the new Michigan Educator On-line Certification System (MOECS).  MOECS will take the place of the current paper renewal process.
