Re-Energizing the Writing Workshop

This course is designed to support K-12 teachers in re-energizing and redefining the Writing Workshop. Participants will explore and study real-world writing and connect learning to inquiry-based instructional practices in the Writer’s and Language Workshop.

In addition, participants will study and refine instructional practices including mini-lessons and one-on-one conferencing in the writing workshop using a Study Driven/Inquiry-Based approach. Ample time will be provided for planning, collection of resources, and organization of units and series of lessons for writing instruction.
