Collaborative Common Assessments

Collaborative Common Assessments is a two-day workshop that fills in all of the ‘holes’ that exist in our current practice of using assessment to drive learning and instruction. You will leave this workshop with the ability to plan next steps for the design and use of a balanced common assessment system within their collaborative teacher teams, buildings, or district.

• Analyze case studies of schools that have effectively implemented collaborative common assessment systems.
• Learn the phases in the collaborative common assessment process and the benefits of engaging in this process.
• Evaluate criteria vital to prioritizing standards.
• Consider crucial questions to guide data conversations.
• Access tools for prioritizing and designing assessments.

This training is open to any practitioner that uses assessment to inform their instruction - classroom teachers, PLCs, instructional coaches, building/district administrators.
