This workshop is for Administrators and Curriculum Directors only.

This half-day workshop will enable administrators and curr. directors to:
• Identify the background of the new social studies standards and their implications for social studies classrooms;
• Identify the instructional shifts and inquiry process of the new social studies standards and how they relate to classroom practice;
• Identify and analyze the three-year implementation plan for social studies standards; and
• Develop an action plan for implementation of social studies standards and create a team that would assist in this implementation in your own district.
