This training is only for Davenport Community Schools employees, including paras and subs.

The goal of this session is to empower teachers to effectively integrate technologies in their classrooms to engage students and improve achievement.

A series of unique professional development opportunities occurring throughout the school year, planned and presented by DCSD teachers and other technology leaders.

Sessions will focus on major areas of interest in current technology topics in the district. To earn credit, participants will complete at least 15 hours of training and an additional 30 hours of outside class work.

Topics include:
• SMART Technologies: boards, lessons, technology integration, clickers, etc.
• Google Apps for Education (GAFE) - Drive, Classroom, Hangouts, Calendar, Sites, etc.
