This training will focus on the following topics:
• Understanding the legal requirements of
Iowa Code section 279.68
and
281--Iowa Administrative Code 62, as it applies to students with significant cognitive disabilities
• Understanding the assessment process and components of the Dynamic Learning Maps Aligned K-3 Literacy Alternate Assessment
• Understanding how to align and gather evidence of Iowa Core English Language Arts comprehensive literacy instruction through a concurrent model of literacy development.
• Understanding how to score the scales within the Dynamic Learning Maps Aligned K-3 Literacy Alternate Assessment for reporting out in the State of Iowa´s Early Literacy Alternate Assessment online data system.
