Assistive Technology: Reading and Writing + UDL


This course is open only to Calamus-Wheatland CSD educators.

     The focus of this course is accessible instructional materials, AT for writing and technology associated with AT and UDL. This course will provide teachers and AEA staff with a systematic, 5-step approach to data-based decisions and provision of AT related to students who require Accessible Instructional Materials (AIM) and writing AT. The Protocol for Accommodations in Reading (PAR, DeCoste), uPAR, DWP and a systematic 5-step process for provision of AT district-wide will be central to the discussion.
