There will be two repeat sessions of this one-day workshop.
Classwide Interventions are quick, simple, and time bound researched literacy routines, implemented to all students in the tier 1 environment. Literacy classwide interventions are designed to provide additional instructional supports for one or more of the foundational literacy skills (concepts, phonological awareness, alphabet knowledge, phonics/decoding, irregular/sight words, fluency, oral language, vocabulary, comprehension, and/or spelling/writing.) Learning targets are aligned to skills along the literacy-learning continuum where proficiency is expected, yet data indicates that nearly 60% of the class still falls short of mastery. Outcomes are measured for all students.
