This session is FULL.PRESS is a comprehensive approach to early literacy developed by the Minnesota Center for Reading Research (MCRR) in partnership with Minneapolis Schools, Minnesota Reading Corps, and theTarget Corporation. The key pillars of the PRESS multi-tiered system of supports framework:
1) quality core instruction
2) data-driven decision making
3) tiered interventions
4) professional learning.
Join us for an in-depth training on the PRESS framework with specific ideas that support teachers and instructional coaches to learn class-wide intervention protocols.
The one-day workshop is intended for elementary school or district staff (administrators, grade-level team leaders, literacy coaches/coordinators, and reading interventionists). This workshop will cover classwide interventions, data-based decision making, and the diagnostic process for Tier 2.
