This course is by invitation only.

Participants will design grade-level curriculum development which includes unwrapping standards into teachable concepts and skills, developing essential understandings and essential questions, creating end-of-unit assessments, and creating unit pre-assessments for units 2, 4, and 6. This work will also consist of revisions of ELA units 1, 3, and 5, which were created during the 2013-2014 school year.

This will lead to future work: the development of rigorous, standards-based lessons. Participants will also use Smarter Balanced Assessment documents and items to help guide the development of the curriculum. Participants will work in grade-level teams to further focus their work. Participation is by invitation only.
