Technology Tools to Increase Student Engagement - Wilton CSD


This course is open only to Wilton CSD Elementary teachers.

Wilton Elementary School teachers will engage in professional development around technology tools used to engage learners and enhance classroom instruction. This course will assist teachers with incorporating 21st Century technology to both manage and instruct students. Participants will receive hands-on training during face-to-face time, will reflect on their newly acquired skills by posting to the course Google site, and will share activities assigned during each session.

Technology topics include the following: GoogleDrive, Digital Citizenship, Content Curation, Graphic Organizers, Online Databases & Primary Sources, Creating & Manipulating digital media, and Web 2.0 Tools.

Registration for this course will close 9/8/14. Registrations after that date will be taken over the phone at 563-344-6481 and charged a a $25 late fee.
