Hear practical tips for how principals have effectively implemented RTI. Developing staff buy-in is critical; examples will be shared of how principals have helped staff members see why RTI is needed with a “call to action” based on school’s data.
Presenter will share how principals have navigated the important structural decisions to allocate time and resources to Tier II and III groups. Handout will include sample school master schedule and delivery models. Session will focus on how to get a “dipstick” impression of whether an intervention lesson is effective through use of a principal’s Intervention Walkthrough Snapshot Observation form.
