Each participant will:
• Study the Iowa Core Mathematics Content Standards.
• Deepen understanding of the Standards for Mathematical Practices in the Iowa Core.
• Learn how mathematical content is developed in the Iowa Core.
• Connect Iowa Core to lesson planning and formative assessment principles.
Please bring your own laptop if you can; Upper Iowa University has some but not enough for the entire class.
Registration for this course will close on June 5, 2012. Registrations after that date will be charged a $25 late fee.
