The Emotional Life of the Child: Helping Students Overcome Anxiety and Depression 2nd edition


This course will focus on how counselors, social workers, psychologists and other behavioral/emotional support personnel in the schools can help children with anxiety and depression. Participants will learn about internalizing behavioral disorders in children, and what techniques are best for identifying and evaluating children with internalizing behavior disorders. Focus will also be placed on becoming aware of the many different treatment approaches for anxiety and depression in children and adolescence.

This class is for teachers K-12, Counselors, Social Workers, Psychologist, and Behavior Support Liaison personnel.
