Teachers will have in-depth knowledge of the guiding principles and practices of formative assessment and gain experience in applying their knowledge to designing units of study with formative assessment embedded within the planning. They will also design specific lessons with specific details on learning goals, success criteria, formative assessments and evidence of student learning criteria clearly identified in the plan and lesson delivery. Students will participate in discussion and/or response to postings through Moodle site designated specifically for students enrolled in this course.
